Green software use on HPC Course Notes

A beginner-friendly course on the carbon footprint of high performance computing, aimed at HPC users, developers, operators and procurers. It shows how to understand, measure and reduce emissions from HPC work, using real data from the UK's ARCHER2 supercomputer. It covers carbon and energy efficiency, carbon-aware scheduling and the embodied carbon in hardware.
