23.8.11 Anytime/ anywhere access to Web of Knowledge and new mobile version

A Web of Knowledge username and password is required for anywhere/ anytime access.
1. Go to webofknowledge.com from an IP authenticated computer.
2. Click Sign In along the top navigation
3. Click Register to create a new account You will be asked to enter your email address to verify that an account does not already exist for you.
4. If an account does not already exist, you will be prompted to fill in the User Registration page.
5. After the username and password you have entered is verified, it will become active.
You can use this username and password to access the mobile version and the full version when you are outside the Cambridge network.
Access WOK from your mobile here: http://m.webofknowledge.com (Web of Knowledge username and password required).
Search databases individually eg Web of Science or all databases. Link to full text (subscription permitting) or sort, refine, email and export to EndNote Web.
KEEPING YOUR ACCESS ACTIVE: You are required to log in to Web of Knowledge from an IP authenticated computer or device every six months to verify you are an authorized user.

27.7.09 Science Citation Index and Social Science Citation Index expanded
Access to the Web of Science Science Citation Index and the Social Science Citation Index has been extended. The Science Citation Index coverage includes retrospective data from 1900 to the present and the Social Science Citation Index from 1956 to present.
10.3.09 Connection problem to Web of Science?
There is an alternative route via Thomson ISI.
Select 'Access to ISI Web of Knowledge' from drop down menu.
5.2.09 Web of Knowledge upgrade
ISI Web of Knowledge has recently been upgraded. If you are experiencing difficulties accessing the service it is recommended you look for all cookies containing either 'mimas' or 'isi' and delete them.

ResearcherID.com (via Web of Knowledge) provides a gateway for researchers to create a unique personal identification number that accurately connects author and publication information.
Registered authors can:
