Adding pictures to http://www-jmg.ch.cam.ac.uk/cinf/rig

File:Picture Upload Page.gif

The list of publications on http://www-jmg.ch.cam.ac.uk/cinf/rig has pictures for some of the publications. Some new pictures will be added automatically. If you want to add a picture by hand, follow these instructions:

(i) Find your paper's DOI. If you do not have a DOI, you cannot add a picture

(ii) Find you picture: the second part (after the "/") of the DOI must be the file name. For example, if the paper has DOI 10.1039/c0cp01123a, then the picture should be called c0cp01123a.gif or c0cp01123a.jpg; if the paper has DOI 10.1002/anie.201100193 the picture should be anie.201100193.gif

(iii) Upload the picture with this name to this page. To do this, read these instructions and then go to the page: Special:Upload.

(a) Click on "Choose File" and select the image file

(b) "Destination filename:" should set itself to the same name automatically. The first letter of the filename will be capitalised - leave it like this.

(c) Click "Upload file"

(d) The file should be uploaded and named with the DOI

(e) You can now add it to this webpage, by adding a line "File:DOI.gif" (where DOI is replaced by the DOI)

(f) The picture shows the screen uploading a file called ja105035r.gif

(g) Your picture should appear on http://www-jmg.ch.cam.ac.uk/cinf/rig within 24 hours, provided a paper with the same DOI is already present, and these instructions have been followed precisely.

Add your pictures below the line. The file name must be the second part of the DOI of the paper, and the images must be in gif format.
