July 2009 - E-only access or print as well?
The American Chemical Society is changing its pricing structure, access options and print format from 2010.
From July 2009 a new ‘rotated and condensed’ format (ie. 2 pages will be reduced to fit on to 1 page) is being introduced for all journals published solely under the ACS imprint except for:
Journal of the American Chemical Society
Accounts of Chemical Research
Chemical Reviews
Chemical & Engineering news
The pricing model focuses on a subscription to ACS Web Editions with print format charged at an additional price. The deep-discount price for print format currently offered to institutional subscribers is being withdrawn from 2010.

Other recommendations
Is it possible to restart the subscription to Heterocycles? Impact factor 1.066 (Tom Beale)
e-EROS is the online version of the Encyclopedia of Regents for Organic Synthesis (http://www.mrw.interscience.wiley.com/eros/). This is a tremendously valuable resource for organic chemists. The online version is continuously updated with new entries, as well as additional content for older entries. I recommend priority 1 status for this resource. (David J. France)
Thanks for these recommendations - noted. (Judith)
Methods in Enzymology is generally a very useful periodical.
